Hubby and I have IM and chat during the day. We’re connected via Buzz thanks to Google (which is why I disconnected Twitter from Buzz – too much for him!). We’re linked on Facebook.
As a result, we kind of now see pretty much everything going on with each other. We share articles out of Google Reader and follow each other’s reading trail.
Which leaves – what exactly to talk about when we’re physically together? Could an age of constant connectedness actually serve to drive some people apart? Is the stat about Facebook fueling divorces a fluke or the new reality?
I’m curious. We’re not having any troubles, but I wonder about the general state of personal connection these days. How do you manage to maintain true connections at the same time connections are more and more virtual? Hmmmm.
