Here ye, here ye. Links on this blog occasionally go to places where you can buy things. Sometimes those places pay me a cut for sending you. Sometimes they don’t. I don’t get a lot of money for it and money’s not the goal. I never recommend something I don’t believe in, I don’t believe in sponsored posts, I will always tell you if I got something out of the deal. Fair?

I don’t want to be the comment police. I want to participate in conversation. To that end, comments that don’t contribute to the conversation are out of here. That means even slightly obvious attempts just for backlinks, personal attacks on others and so forth. My blog, my arbitrary decisions, my sucky job. Don’t make it harder than it has to be. Fair?

Yes, I’m on Twitter, FaceBook, FriendFeed, LinkedIn and a billion other places. No, I’m not going to follow you back, accept your friend request or accept your invite. I have some pretty strict ideas about how I use those services and unless it fits, I’m not going to do it. (If you think I’m bitchy, you don’t have to be a part of this community.) I refuse to let other people’s ideas of how they should be used dictate how I do it. Make a case for a connection and maybe I’ll buy it, but I’m making myself available in all kinds of ways to you.
